ZEN CART: STORE vs. SHOWCASE
Zen Cart offers the ability to set your web site as a showcase or gallery instead of an online store. This makes Zen Cart an ideal CMS system for anyone wishing to display an online portfolio. In addition, if in the future you would like to make your web site an eCommerce site, it is easy to switch back to an online store.

To set your Zen Cart installation to Showcase or Gallery mode, follow these instructions:

• Scroll over Configuration and click on My Store(1st selection).
• Click on "Store Status" (20th line).
• In the right column select:
  0= Normal Store
  1= Showcase no prices
  2= Showcase with prices
• Click on Update

That's it! On your product information pages, there will be a "Contact Us" link in place of the "Add to Cart" link.
