ZEN CART PRODUCT INFORMATION DISPLAYED

Ever wonder how to get rid of "This product was added on..." on your product pages? Thankfully, Zen Cart has an area in the admin that allows you to modify the information displayed on the product information pages. Follow the easy steps below.

• Scroll over "Catalog" and click on "Product Types" in the zen admin section of your web site.
• Most of you will be using the "Product General" layout. Click on the "edit layout" button.
• On this page, there are many options for changing the layout.
• Simply click on the option you would like to change. Turn the option off and click on Update.
• NOTE:By default, Zen Cart makes your products "non-taxable". To make your products taxable by default, click on the "Product Price Tax Class Default - When adding new products?" line and enter 1 in the form field. Click Update. Taxable will now be selected by default when adding new products.

ZEN CART PREVIOUS NEXT BUTTON POSITIONS

• Scroll over Configuration and click on Product Info (17th selection).
• Click on "Previous Next - Navigation Bar Position" and make your selection from the drop down list. Choose 0= off, 1= Top of Page, 2= Bottom of Page, or 3= Both Top and Bottom of Page. Click Update to make your changes.

ZEN CART MODIFY IMAGE SIZES ON PRODUCT INFORMATION PAGE

• Scroll over Configuration and click on Images (4th selection).
• Click on "Product Info - Image Width" (16th line). Enter the image width in pixels you would like. There are 72 pixels per inch. Click Update to make your changes.
• Click on "Product Info - Image Height" (17th line). Enter the image height in pixels you would like. There are 72 pixels per inch. Click Update to make your changes.
• NOTE: Zen Cart by default uses proportional image sizes so these setting are the maximum width and height.

ZEN CART MODIFY THE "ALSO PURCHASED PRODUCTS"

• Also Purchased Products Listed Per Row
• Scroll over Configuration and click on Product Info (17th selection).
• Click on "Also Purchased Products Columns per Row" (the last selection).
• Make your changes and click on Update.
• Changing the number of Products Also Purchased shown.
• Scroll over Configuration and click on Maximum Values (3rd selection).
• Click on "Also Purchased Products" (21st selection). Enter the maximum value you would like shown and click Update.
• HINT: If you do not want this option to show at all, enter 0 as your maximum value.
